Michigan and the Chicago River are a couple of places where we love to
hang out in the city during the summer. Bring your refrigerator and hop
on one of the electric boats that navigate the legendary Chicago River.
This experience is a unique and respectful way with the environment to
see the beautiful places and architecture of Chicago. You can drive your
own boat or hire someone to take you along the river. We love to go on a
night cruise and watch the fireworks, which take place every Wednesday
and Saturday night in the summer, right next to the Chicago River by
Navy Pier. Also, check out the new Chicago Cycle Boats. It is also BYOB
or BYOF (bring your own food) and it is fun with a large group of
people. Pedals sit in comfortable bike seats at a table while pedaling
at their own pace on the Chicago River. Passengers can sit or stand
while enjoying the view. Bicycles are electric with a captain leading
the way, so pedaling is fun but completely optional.
